Miles is over 2 months old. I can't believe how fast it has gone by! A his 2 month check-up the other day he weighed 14 1/2 pounds (97th percentile) and is 23 inches long. He can hold his head and chest up really well when he's on his stomach and even rolled over a few times. Apparently, rolling over like that is a 4 month old accomplishment. He is very strong. I even put him in his new Baby Einstein Play Jumper he got from Grandma Rhonda and Grandpa David and at times, he can get it jumping a bit. He loves showing off his strength, especially when he is praised for it.
I call this his "Blue Steel" Face (from Zoolander)
Miles is 7 weeks old and already making progress in growth and development. I'm starting to see cute smiles, hear some coos, and watch his amazing head control. We do "tummy time" which is where I lay Miles on his tummy so he can work his neck and back muscles, giving him even better head control. Lately, he's been able to hold his head up higher for longer periods of time. I love discovering the things he can do and I can't wait for all the new ones too, like when he giggles and starts to roll over. Check out his progress so far:
